POEM

Supposed to Live Forever

You’re supposed to live forever
And be there for every moment.
You’re supposed to live forever
And be a strong support.
You’re supposed to live forever
Forget what science says.
You’re supposed to live forever
It doesn’t matter that you can’t.
You’re supposed to live forever
And be my greatest friend.
You’re supposed to live forever
Just because I say you can.
You’re supposed to live forever
Even if it’s a childish wish.
You’re supposed to live forever
Just like they do in stories.
You’re supposed to live forever
And ever and ever and ever.
You’re supposed to live forever
You even said you would.
You’re supposed to live forever
Or at least until I die.

But you didn’t live forever
A fact I have to face.
You didn’t live forever
Just like I knew you wouldn’t.
You can’t live on forever
I’m told this day after day.
You said you’d live forever,
So why did you go and die?

Hey! Is that poem about someone in particular, or is it just in general? It's really good though. Did you write it, or is it from some song or something? Well, I'll see you tomorrow!!!

Wow, you're really good at poetry... Ever think about becoming a song writer when you grow up? You'd be really good at it.
